Question

As Arabs are we a collective society or an individualistic one?

That is the degree to which people follow self interest and seek personal fulfilment rather then group interests and social concerns.

Our society is lost! we dont know what we are doing!

We are originally as all human races started as a collective one but nowadays we are shifting rapidly to individuality.

I think it’s a global trend, the increasing changes in all social layers, the changes in our values and the mental image we lock ourselves in to strive for success and perfect lives.

It’s a temporary phase we are facing, to put our values in the wrong things that build up egos with the size of mountains and thus living a delusional life

Definqtley Collectivist. Not quite as much as the far eastern countries, where the value of the group or family is more important than the individual,in the arab world, dancing to the beat of your own drum is frowned apon. Although i am seeing a change, in generations that preceed mine i see a shift. Both Good and bad, but nevertheless a shift.
